Standardized Testing

- We advice that you simply self-report your highest scores in the testing part of the application form. You can also have scores that are official to Stanford, but this is not needed for us to review your application.
- Should your most recent test results arrive you can self-report these scores by logging in to your Application Status portal and filling out the Self-Report Test Scores form after you submit your application.
- If you’re offered admission and choose to sign up, official scores are going to be required. To allow test scores to be considered official, they need to be sent directly from the College Board or the ACT.*
*Please note: Stanford reserves the ability to revoke an offer of admission if a job candidate’s self-reported test scores do not align with those in the score report that is official.

Superscoring Test Outcomes
We wish one to have the best test representation possible, so we will superscore your outcomes based on the following rubric:

We recommend students use the ACT or SAT well in advance of application deadlines. It is unlikely that scores from tests taken following the deadlines will get to time for review.
